Kate’s rare message hints at return to the public eye

Catherine, Princess of Wales seems to be slowly coming back into the public eye, if her latest social media message is to go by.
The royal has seemingly gotten back into the swing of things, beginning to post about her royal work.
On the X, formerly Twitter account she shares with her husband, Prince William, the royal congratulated adventurer and TV presenter Dwayne Fields on becoming the new Chief Scout of Scouts UK.

“Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as the new UK Chief Scout,” she wrote, “The Scouts is such an incredible organisation, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country.
“Looking forward to working with you!” the royal wrote, signing off the post with her initial “C.”
The organisation is the largest Scout organisation in the United Kingdom, with the aim of engaging and supporting young people by providing skills for life.

Catherine became joint president of the organisation alongside Queen Elizabeth’s cousin, Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent in 2020.
Catherine was a girl scout along with her sister in their youth and a previously said she hopes her children Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, also get involved.
She brought them along to The Big Help Out volunteer day held by the 3rd Upton Scout Group in Slough last year, following the coronation of her father-in-law, King Charles in May.

The post marks a rare move for the royal, who has been out of the public eye and halted her royal duties as she recovers from a cancer diagnosis.
There has been much chatter about her return to work, but her team has shot down the speculation of her return on every other occasion so far.
Meanwhile, Prince William has returned to work after the family’s annual summer holiday, Attending the Homelessness: Reframed exhibit at the Saatchi Gallery in London with a new look.
