When the clock starts the dots will illuminate. ** Also notice from images when scoreboards are being synced together and controlled by one wired controller you will see the other wired controller is off (being unplugged from scoreboard) The wired controllers get their power from the scoreboard and it must be plugged into scoreboard to achieve power. (Controllers have a 4 AA battery spot which is N/A and not needed)** I forgot to shoot an image of the controller close up but they have digital readouts and shows clock in real time as well. The first few images show scoreboards at the brightest setting and the very last image shows scoreboards at the dimmest setting.
